Privacy Policy.
How we handle the information you share with us — what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, your rights under UK GDPR, and our cookie practices.

1. Who we are
This site (namerauk.com) is operated by Murat Karabıyık, trading as Namera UK (“Namera UK”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Namera UK acts as an independent introducer connecting transformer buyers with established manufacturers.
For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
You can contact us at [email protected].
2. What information we collect
Information you give us when you:
- Email us at [email protected] or [email protected] — we receive whatever you include (your name, contact details, project information, attachments).
- Book a call through our calendar link — Google Calendar collects your name, email address, the time you choose, and any details you add to the booking form.
- Contact us through WhatsApp or LinkedIn — the relevant third-party service handles that exchange and you are bound by their privacy policies.
Information collected automatically when you visit the site:
- Your IP address and basic request data (browser type, referring page, timestamps), collected by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and to operate the site.
- Essential cookies set by Cloudflare for bot detection and security — see Cookies below.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, social-media pixels, or any similar tracking technologies on this site.
3. How we use your information
We use information you give us to:
- Respond to enquiries and requests for quotation.
- Arrange and conduct introductory calls.
- Pass relevant project details to a manufacturer where you have asked us to make an introduction.
- Keep a record of our correspondence with you for our business records.
We use information collected automatically to deliver the site securely and reliably, and to protect it from abuse.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing or advertising.
4. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR
We process your personal data on the following bases:
- Legitimate interests — to respond to your enquiry, provide the service you have asked about, and maintain our business records. Our legitimate interest is operating and growing our business; we have balanced this against your privacy rights and consider it proportionate.
- Consent — where you actively choose to share information with us, for example by emailing us or completing a booking form.
- Legal obligation — where we are required to keep records for tax or other regulatory purposes.
5. Who we share information with
We use a small number of carefully chosen service providers (“processors”) to operate this site. They process information on our behalf under contractual data-protection terms.
| Provider | Role | What they process |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Domain registration, DNS, content delivery, hosting | IP addresses, basic request data, essential security cookies |
| Google LLC (Google Workspace) | Email at namerauk.com | Email content, sender details, attachments |
| Google LLC (Google Calendar) | Appointment booking | Booking details: name, email, chosen time, form fields |
If you ask us to make a manufacturer introduction, we will share the project information you have provided with that manufacturer so they can prepare a quotation directly with you. We will tell you which manufacturer this is when we make the introduction.
We do not share your data with any other third party unless we are legally required to (e.g., in response to a valid request from law enforcement).
6. International transfers
Some of the providers above (notably Cloudflare and Google) are based outside the UK and process data in their global infrastructure, including in the United States.
These transfers are protected by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) and/or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, supplemented where appropriate by additional safeguards.
7. How long we keep your information
- Emails and project correspondence — kept while commercially relevant, so we can pick up an enquiry where we left off and maintain a record of any introduction made. Deleted on request.
- Booking records — held in Google Calendar; default Google retention applies until removed.
- Server logs and security data — handled by Cloudflare per their retention policy (typically short-term, days to weeks).
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data (subject to legal or contractual exceptions).
- Restriction — ask us to stop processing your data in certain circumstances.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — where we are relying on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses only strictly necessary cookies set by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and bot protection — for example, the __cf_bm cookie which helps distinguish humans from bots. These cookies are required for the site to function safely and do not require your consent under PECR.
We do not use:
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics or similar).
- Advertising or re-targeting cookies.
- Social-media tracking pixels.
- Any other non-essential cookies.
If you book a call or send us an email, you may be subject to cookies set by Google for those specific services — please refer to Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy for details.
You can block cookies through your browser settings; this site will continue to function normally without the optional ones.
10. Children’s data
This site is aimed at business buyers and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent change at the top of this page. For material changes, we will use reasonable means to inform you.
